How peptide calculator arithmetic works

Concentration is mass divided by final solution volume. A U-100 unit is a volume marking, not a fixed mass of peptide.

Concentration formula

Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mass (mg) × 1,000 ÷ final solution volume (mL). This assumes the stated mass is accurate and the solution is homogeneous.

Volume and U-100 conversion

Volume (mL) = entered amount (mcg) ÷ concentration (mcg/mL). U-100 equivalent = volume × 100. This conversion does not apply to other syringe calibrations.

Worked arithmetic example

For an example containing 5 mg in a final volume of 2 mL, concentration is 2,500 mcg/mL. An entered amount of 250 mcg corresponds to 0.1 mL or 10 U-100 units. These numbers illustrate arithmetic only.

What this tool cannot decide

It does not choose a dose, solvent, storage temperature, shelf life or preparation method. Use product-specific instructions and qualified professional guidance. Container capacity, solubility, potency, purity and dead-space losses are not modeled.

Methodology and limitations

PeptideMetrix is an arithmetic utility. The browser and PHP implementations calculate the same mass-to-volume conversion. A matching result establishes agreement between two implementations, not independent clinical validation.

Intermediate values are not intentionally rounded. Display values use up to nine significant digits; very small or large values use scientific notation. Results may fall between syringe graduations. The tool does not round to a recommended syringe mark.

The calculator checks numeric validity, syringe capacity and whether an entered amount exceeds the total vial amount. A warning appears below one U-100 unit. Passing these checks does not establish safe or practical measurement. The theoretical portions-per-vial ratio ignores losses and storage limits.

Examples and preset values are not recommended doses. Selecting a name changes only a label. No medical reviewer or clinical certification is claimed for this release.

Reference sources

Privacy and local storage

This website calculates locally, then sends vial mass, final solution volume, entered amount and syringe capacity to its own API to compare arithmetic. The supplied application code does not write those values to a database or application log. Hosting infrastructure may retain request metadata; the operator must document its actual logging and retention before launch.

Peptide labels stay in your browser. Calculation storage is off by default. If you enable “Remember this calculation,” values and the selected label are saved in browser local storage until cleared. Use “Clear saved calculation” to delete that record. Theme preference is saved separately. Anyone using the same browser profile may access saved values.

The supplied code has no analytics or advertising scripts and no remote font requests. Copy, share and download transfer values only when you choose those actions. The separately packaged Chrome extension calculates offline and does not send inputs to the website.
